Perhaps you'd like to see how sss-snake-like I can be

I have a family friend who once had a snake ring and ever since I saw her wear it (like 10 years ago!) I have been looking for one. Today was the day! I picked it up from DIVA for like 5 bucks... ha!

When I got home I had a look online for some others - Gee there are some nice serpent rings around...

My Diva ring...

Kenneth Jay Lane Stone Embellished Serpent Ring

I think I need this one...

My Recent Purchases

So I splurged on the Dior Sunglasses! I needed some moral support from Nicole so I took her along to see what she thought, and as soon as I put them on again I knew I was going to buy them. The assistant remembered me from last weekend and added "They are 20% today" - how could I NOT buy them?!

In the last week-ish, I also bought this bag from Forever New:

and these shoes from the Markets:

Are you there snow? It's me, Kristi...

To my dearest Snow,
I do hope you are around when I leave for Europe (again, teehee) next Thursday! Please please let us have a White Christmas.
Love always, Kristi

So now that Winter is just around the corner, I have started to get things organised for my suitcase. Winter clothes sure take up a lot space! Last weekend I ended up at the markets shopping with my fingers corssed, hoping to find some warm jackets. As it turns out, Australia does sell them - not entirely sure why. It doesn't get THAT cold... Anyway, Cute and green furry jacket:

I was hoping to get a full outfit going... Maybe something a little like this:

Hehe. Okay, maybe not that extreme. But I keep hearing its really cold. Looks like I'll have to do some shopping over there if my closet doesn't shape up! *Darn!*

Budgeting, shoes and money

Turns out I spend roughly $4900 a year on fashion items... $1200 of that is on shoes alone!! Wow. What an eye opener and heart breaker.

Speaking of money, I ended up getting those pink/black shoes and they were delivered to my door this evening! They are beautiful and fit like a dream.

I am also waiting for some Avon Mineral Make-up to arrive. I am so excited. I have been watching those infomercials lately and they have me convinced that mineral make-up is God. We will soon find out! I really hope I got the right colour though - my usual one is buff beige and they had buff and beige as different options! (note to self: research making own mineral make-up).

I will also take this entry to announce shoobiz massive, manic sale!

Terms & Conditions:

  • Clearance sale of selected shoes and accessories
  • Offer available from 23.06.08 to 6.07.08
  • Promotion excludes shoe care
  • Promotion excludes lay-by sales on sale stock
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount
Alas, you will not see me there. I am in retail-rehab.

Rain, Rain go away

Coming from my sisters house in Queensland and 27 degree weather back to a rainy wet overcast Sydney is kind of depressing. It so nice up there... and not to mention the shopping! I. Love. Harbourtown. An hour into the 4.5hr shopping trip, Kati realised what she had done. Tina and I can spend hours in a shopping center, going into almost every shop - You never know where you will find for a bargain!

And speaking of bargains, $5 Mambo Dress and Skirt. Insane! We were in stitches from laughting. Something that costs $15 was now too expensive.

Anyway, I came back with a few things *innocent* that I had to squish into my little suitcase (Note to self: Take an empty suitcase!) hehe.

Here are a few photos (that aren't tops of heads or teddy shots by Jack, tee hee):

Isaac and I

Jack and I with his Motorbike

Ahhhhh.... I miss them.
